Ibu negara Mexico ialah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldclock.com\/north-america\/mexico\/time-in-mexico-city\/\">Bandar Raya Mexico<\/a>, bahasa rasminya ialah bahasa Sepanyol walaupun bahasa-bahasa orang asli Amerika turut dituturkan, dan penduduknya berjumlah 112.3 juta orang. Mata wang yang digunakan di negara ini ialah peso (MXN). Penjelajah Sepanyol, Hern\u00e1n Cort\u00e9s, datang dari <a href=\"http:\/\/worldclock.com\/europe\/spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sepanyol<\/a> pada tahun 1519 tetapi tidak ditentang oleh kaum Aztec kerana mereka percaya beliau ialah Quetzalcoatl yang kembali. Cort\u00e9s kemudian bersekutu dengan musuh-musuh Aztec dan pada tahun 1521 mereka menakluk Tenochtitlan, ibu kota Aztec. Bekas empayar Aztec kemudiannya dikenali sebagai Sepanyol Baharu. Kemudian, pada tahun 1810, perang kemerdekaan Mexico dimulakan oleh paderi Mexico, Miguel Hidalgo. Pada tahun 1821, Mexico mencapai kemerdekaan daripada <a href=\"http:\/\/worldclock.com\/europe\/spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sepanyol<\/a>. Hari ini Mexico terkenal dengan budayanya yang kaya, terutamanya makanannya.
