Negara ini terletak antara latitud 10\u00b0 2&#8242; dan 11\u00b0 12&#8242; U serta longitud 60\u00b0 30&#8242; hingga 61\u00b0 56&#8242; B. Negara ini terdiri daripada dua pulau utama, Trinidad dan Tobago, serta 21 pulau yang lebih kecil dengan keluasan keseluruhan 5,128 km persegi. Menurut anggaran rasmi tahun 2015, penduduk negara ini berjumlah 1,349,667 orang.<br \/>\nPurata panjang Pulau Trinidad ialah 80 km dan purata lebarnya 59 km. Pulau Tobago pula sepanjang 41 km dan selebar 12 km pada bahagian paling lebar.<br \/>\nIbu negaranya ialah <a href=\"http:\/\/worldclock.com\/north-america\/trinidad-and-tobago\/time-in-port-au-offs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Port of Spain<\/a> dengan kira-kira 350,000 penduduk, terletak di Trinidad.<br \/>\nTrinidad pernah menjadi pulau utama bekas Hindia Barat yang merupakan tanah jajahan British.
