Burundi, also known as the Republic of Burundi, is located in Africa. The country’s capital city is Bujumbura, its official languages are Burundi, Kirundi and French and the country has a population of over 10.2 million people and is one of the smallest countries in Africa. The country’s currency is the Burundi franc (BIF).
