What is military time?
Military time is the 24-hour clock written without a colon: 0000 is midnight, 1200 is noon and 2359 is one minute before midnight. To convert afternoon times, add 12 to the hour (3:45 PM → 1545); for times from 1300, subtract 12 to get back to regular time. “Zulu time” is UTC – the military and aviation standard – and each letter of the NATO alphabet names one time zone.
