Online Chess Clock
A two-player game clock with Fischer increment and delay presets – tap your side to end your move. Works great on a phone.
Tap your own side (or press Space) after your move to start your opponent’s clock. The first tap starts the game.
Time controls explained
Chess time controls are written as minutes + seconds: “3+2” means each player has 3 minutes for the whole game and gains 2 seconds after every move.
- Fischer increment adds the bonus after each move, so time can build up.
- Simple delay waits a few seconds before your clock starts counting down.
- Bronstein delay gives back the time you used, up to the delay – but never more.
Bullet is under 3 minutes, blitz 3–10 minutes, rapid 10–60 minutes and classical longer. The clock also works for Go, Scrabble and any two-player game.
