How the date calculator counts
“Days between” counts the number of midnights from the start date to the end date – so from Monday to Tuesday is 1 day. Tick “include the end date” to count both days (useful for holidays and events). Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays but not public holidays.
When you add months, the day of the month stays the same where possible; adding one month to 31 January gives the last day of February.
